ABURA AGE is a tofu pouch variation chosen by Kanika for its great texture and wonderful taste. Aburaage (油揚げ) are deep-fried tofu pouches made from soybeans in Japan. It's made by slicing tofu into thin slices and deep-frying it twice. Tofu is first fried at a lower temperature of 230-250 ºF (110-120 °C), causing it to expand in size. They are then fried again at a higher temperature of 360-400 ºF (180-200 °C), where they plump up even more and turn golden brown. Please keep it in the freezer after you receive it to preserve the freshness of your order.
